Weigl devices have always been centered around animatronics and motion control. While these video players can stand-alone, many of the features developed for them, were born from our partnership with Weigl’s animation core. Seamless playback with timecode synchronization via industry standards such as MTC and ArtNet timecode, with frame locked dual channel playback easily possible for applications such as character eyes and motion control centered applications.

When combined with Showforge®, workflow parameters become even more integrated and automated. Built for professional applications, this player can be linked to other VP’s, any of our ProCommander® devices and more. With Motavision and the mVP, a new real language scripting engine allows onboard scripting to be triggered through Showforge® or Weigl show commands.
Advanced Interactive Render Engine
The new Motavision mVP platform offers seamless, solid-state 4k video playback boasting a wide set of real-time pro-level show control and synchronization features, that are truly unique to the video and interactive player industry.
Fully unlocked by screen count (mVP and standard licenses ship with 2x 4k outputs) compositing and interactive content are fully possible without destructive rendering to the original files. Send external UDP commands, or use simple language scripting within the player to maximize flexibility and guest interaction.
Expand With Full Control
Need more control beyond just playback, synced and seamless trigger? The ProCommander® VX embeds the ProVP™ (or limited use of new Motavision software) with an expanded version of Weigl X-Series devices, such as the ProCommander® AX. With an additional 4 channels of uncompressed audio with polyphony, 16/32 universes of lighting control and an ultra powerful Class-D amplifier, the VX currently can run fully interactive exhibits or attractions from a single rack space.

Dynamic, Modern File Management
For many systems, loading media can often be a chore. The ProVP™ platform simplifies this and provides options to modernize and expand distribution models.
Using the web-browser, USB or other network connectivity options like FTP, load files to the player while others play, without even a reboot. Keep files intact and apply interactivity and one time modifications through scripting or external UDP or ProCommander® control.
Scripting and Logic Onboard
In addition to standard WEM | Script™ logic from Weigl ProCommanders®, the new mVP series launches internal real language scripting, which allows for fast playlist and external show control options with or without additional Weigl components.

Showforge Media Rich Editing Workflow
mVP™ and ProCommander® VX controllers benefit further when paired with Showforge®. Import and manipulate up to 4 tracks of video within a full screen or windowed preview while animating, recording lighting or building your show. Sync via network to the mVP/VX and ensure frame accurate playback, even prior to export.
Build advanced shows and store in a single secure document for easy portability, import common audio and video formats and adjust to your show needs. Additional manipulation and editing capabilities are continually being added to Showforge® to help a fully integrated media and show control workflow. When using dual output licenses on the mVP/VX, use the 4 tracks to help create and preview complex interactive functions, combined with our drag and drop interactive video logic.
Drag and Drop Timeline Interactivity
Interactivity wasn’t meant to be static and ‘event based.’ Showforge® allows timeline based live manipulation of video clips and interactive logic during playback for unparalleled media interactivity. Size, move and manipulate video clips on the mVP/VX devices, non-destructive to the original video clip loaded to the device. Simply move the event markers or change the timing. For basic interactivity such as looping, fading, following and basic background logic, simply choose from the drop down markers catered to the VP/VX devices.
Have a more complex script, or want to make a show with data portability for third party media updates? Simply build or remotely push scripts with your extended interactivity, manipulations, fades or compositing, triggering from the timeline as well. These edits again can be crafted to operate as non destructive modifications to the original media, taking place in real-time on the hardware. Route any Weigl input (analog, digital, DMX, Art-Net etc.) into the logic path and truly take your projects to the next level, or use the built in GPIO inputs on the mVP.
